| Sunday Afternoon Around the Piano | May 15, 2008 |
Mentone Grammar is conducting "Sunday Afternoon Around the Piano" in Thorold Hall on Sunday 18 May at 2.00 pm. Last year we had around 150 people and it was a great afternoon. Tickets are $6 each or $4 concession (includes pensioners, students and FOPA members). Cost includes afternoon tea. It is a really great afternoon and highlights senior school talent as well as some of the staff and previous students. FOPA is prepared to offer the following for the Old Mentonians Cricket Club: a. The first four Old Mentonian Cricketers (and their partners) who arrive to buy tickets on the day will be given free entry (provided they tell us that they are Old Mentonian Cricketers), b. All other Old Mentonian Cricketers will be provided with Honorary FOPA membership for the day and will be provided with tickets at reduced prices ($4 instead of $6), c. The first two Old Mentonian Cricketers who mention that they are Old Mentonians will be given a free glass of either red or white wine, and d. All other Old Mentonian Cricketers (who mention it) will be given a discount of $1 per glass of wine - $4 instead of $5. Wine will be available for purchase for 30 minutes prior to the event and during the 20-25 minute intermission. Afternoon tea (tea, coffee, cake and biscuits) will be provided free of charge.
